Our goal is to provide excellent service with a caring and compassionate approach to your patients needs. I take care to reinforce your role as your patient’s primary physician and my role as a consultant. Patients with urgent medical or surgical needs are given priority in the appointment system. Appointments for non-urgent medical problems are scheduled several days to several weeks in advance. I routinely forward a summary of diagnostic reports and treatments to you (and any relevant parties) within 48 hours of consultation.
I treat a broad range of conditions including asthma, emphysema, asbestosis, mesothelioma, silicosis, sarcoidosis and bronchitis. Also, sleep disorders including sleep apnoea, periodic leg movement disorder, insomnia and narcolepsy. I am also happy to discuss any potential patients over the phone should you have any queries.
Our onsite Respiratory Laboratory uses modern Medisoft equipment and we conduct many diagnostic tests including Spirometry, Flow volume loops, Complex lung function and Mannitol Challenges. These may be performed independently of a consultation if required.
Also, my wife, Dr Linda Allen, offers psychiatric treatment to patients with cancer (particularly breast), grief, depression and anxiety.
In our rooms we have a resident CPAP specialist through GenesisCare.
