Can Professor Allen recommend any other specialist sarcoidosis Dr’s outside of Brisbane?

Professor Allen cannot recommend any interstate physicians that specialise in sarcoidosis. You would be best to consult your GP for a chest physician but bear in mind that they may only be able to look at sarcoid in the chest rather than globally.

It may be possible for Dr Allen to see an interstate new patient, but he would need to review your GP referral first as it can depend on the complexity of your condition as it’s difficult to treat you when living interstate.  You would be required to travel to Brisbane for the appointment and would need to allow 3-4 days should there be any tests required to be performed while you are here.  The waiting time for a new patient appointment is approximately 6-8 weeks.
