Consultation Fees
Our fees are structured so that your care is both affordable and predictable. The fees do vary depending on your appointment type and time.
We request that payment for your appointment in our rooms is settled at the time of your consultation. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, credit card or cash. We can submit your claim directly to Medicare using our online claiming facility. If you are registered with Medicare and have recorded your bank details with them, your Medicare rebate can be directly deposited in to your nominated bank account if requested. This facility is subject to availability as sometimes the Medicare systems are down.
If you have any questions about our fees or billing structure, please contact our reception team on 07 3719 5577 who will be only too happy to answer your questions.

InPatient Hospital Fees
We have a “no gap” arrangement with most health funds to enable us to bill your health fund directly for your procedure and/or inhospital care. However, there are some health funds that may be excluded, please confirm with our reception staff to check your details.
You will also need to check with your private health fund to ensure you are fully covered respiratory care in a private hospital.
If you are having an in-hospital procedure there may be additional costs for other medical specialists involved in your care, such as:
* Anaesthetist * Assistant Surgeon
Sometimes we need to refer to other specialists such as a cardiologist or ENT surgeon for related complications. An account may be sent from these specialists and an out of pocket expense may be occurred.
Prescription Fee
If you have a pre-arrangement with our Doctor, phoned prescription requests incur a $16.00 administration fee payable at the time of request. This is payable over the phone via credit card.
Cancellation Fee
If you are unable to attend an appointment please advise us no less than 24 hours in advance. By doing so, you will not deprive others of a vacancy and your courtesy will be greatly appreciated.
Confirmed appointments, cancelled at late notice will incur a $120 cancellation fee. This amount is payable before another appointment can be made.
